About our redevelopment
The NSW Government has committed more than $1 billion for the Nepean Redevelopment, which is delivering a major upgrade and expansion of hospital and community-based health services for the Penrith and Blue Mountains communities.

The redevelopment is being delivered in two stages. Stage 1 is now complete following the opening of Nepean Hospital’s new 14-storey tower in 2022. Construction is now underway for Stage 2.

This website provides all the latest news and information about the progress of this important hospital redevelopment.
