Stage 2

About this project

The NSW Government is also delivering Stage 2 of the Nepean Redevelopment with construction currently underway on the Nepean Hospital campus.

Stage 2 includes a new building that will seamlessly connect to the Stage 1 tower (Building A) and include:

• An Intensive Care Unit
• Medical imaging services and nuclear medicine
• An in-centre renal dialysis unit
• A new paediatric inpatient unit
• Education and training facilities
• A new front of house and reception area   

In December 2022 CPB Contractors was appointed as the main works contractor for the project and work is well underway.

Stage 2 also included the upgrade and repurposing of some existing buildings on campus, including Building C and D which were completed in early 2024.

Planning and design work is also underway for a new community health centre in Penrith. Further details will be provided in the second half of 2024.
