The new Stage 2 building is steadily taking shape and rising up from the group, with the concrete pour for Level 2 now complete!
The jumpform, which is a special type of concrete formwork that is used to construct multi-storey buildings, has now jumped to Level 5.
The entrance to the P1 car park from Barber Avenue has reopened after being closed for roadworks.
There is still a lot of construction activity on Barber Avenue so please continue to pay close attention to traffic signs and allow extra time to get to your private and public hospital appointments while construction continues.
The temporary coffee cart and volunteers station areas on Level 2 of Building A have closed to progress construction of the
Stage 2 building.
An alternative café for staff, visitors and patients is the Laneway Café in Building D near the cashier and the volunteer’s shop.
Structural framing works for the new Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Unit are almost complete, with brickwork set to start in coming weeks. Wall frames and high level services are also underway.
Thank you for your support and patience this year as we progress Stage 2 of the Nepean Redevelopment.
